We went to the Hogle Zoo last week. It was 39 degrees outside. pretty cold. The kids were dress in thier winter coats & hats. I was not as smart to dress myself that way. I had to run back out to the car & get one of Jamie's coats. We walked around the whole zoo. Braxton liked the elephants & and carousel. Lauren's favorite's were the monkeys & the giraffes.Jamie & I enjoyed watching the kids at the zoo. It was interesting to see which animals they liked. Going this time of the year was so much better than going in the summer. The animals interacted with the kids. The first pictures are of a spider monkey that came and sat by the window and just stared at the kids. Lauren put her finger on the glass, and the little monkey did the same. SO cute. Almost all the animals were active, which was nicebecause most of the time they look like someone slipped them a sleeping pill. We had a lot of fun. Braxton & Lauren got to pick something from the zoo store. Braxton chose a train with little animals in the carts. Lauren chose a stuffed monkey.
